This spicy tea gives a boost of energy, but without the caffeine.
Its both rejuvenating & immune boosting.
Makes 2 cups:
1 tbsp fresh root ginger finely grated
½ tsp ground turmeric
pinch cayenne pepper
juice of ½ lemon
drizzle raw honey (optional)
1. Put the ginger, turmeric and cayenne pepper into a tea pot. Fill with 600ml of hot water. Stir and leave to brew for 10 minutes.
2. Strain if you like. Pour into mugs and leave to cool to room temperature, then add the lemon juice and honey.
